Gary Hume’s work highlights parts of the
human body and by doing this he has shown new forms and shapes, it also
looks like a puzzle. The colours he has chosen also compliment each other, this shows balance. But the shades resemble summer and spring, which creates a
warm feeling, this could make the audience feel comfortable. The portraits
are also well balanced which shows he has perfect control when creating
portraits.
Personally
theses are my favorite works off Hume’s because the parts on the body that
stand out inspires me for my graphics and fine art projects which I am
exploring pattern in both of them.
