Jameel Prize exhibition is an international
art prize, which is for contemporary artists, and designers who are inspired by
Islamic traditions of art, craft and design. It was first launched in 2009 and
is exhibited every 2 years; this prize draws in many nominations from many
countries and continues to attract them. The
event shows the exciting interaction between contemporary practice and a great
historical heritage.
